Remarkable words

Pain. Pain represented in the dictionary is to cause pain to; hurt or injure. One word can stand for so much, it's amazing.

Earlier I was thinking of all the pain that I've probably caused people and of all the pain that they've caused me. The thoughts and memories filled my head were so retched, tha I gagged in disgust. But, amidst all the things that represent pain in my life, I've discovered another four letter word that means the complete opposite.

Love. The dictionary says that love means a deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person. Such a meaningful word, yet that I sometimes fear.
